If you’ve come to the site over the last few days, you might have noticed a new design. I think it’s a bit cleaner and easier to navigate than the older version, and a lot closer to our main company site, Morningstar Multimedia.
That said, I’ve noticed (and fixed) a couple of bugs today, so if you find anything else out of place, please let me know (either by posting a comment or emailing me through the contact form.)
I’ve also just launched two new strategic marketing products – just in time for September! (Summer flew by fast, didn’t it?) These are audio programs with a transcript and workbook.
The two biggest issues real estate agents (and people, in general) seem to have with marketing is that they try to target way too many people and and they don’t have a meaningful way to differentiate themselves from other real estate agents. These two programs address those issues.
Once you have a clear understanding of how to narrow your focus and target clients who are right for you AND you identify what makes you unique, special, or different from other agents, marketing becomes a lot easier.
1) How to Generate Lifelong Clients – This program will help you narrow your focus from “anyone in my city and the five surrounding counties” to a very specific niche that’s not only manageable and affordable to reach, but who will value your services. I discuss how to identify what the characteristics of your ideal clients are – those people who are a pleasure to do business with – and why you should turn away those tire-kickers and energy draining clients that make your job tedious and unprofitable.
2) Differentiate Your Services – This program is designed to help you identify what strengths, talents, and passions make you uniquely qualified to help your prospects and clients. I talk about how to define your personal brand as well as how to analyze what your competitors are doing so you can differentiate yourself meaningfully from them in your prospect and clients’ eyes.
I’ve got two more products in the works, which should be launched soon: one on referral marketing and another on creating a lead-generating website, so look for those in the next few weeks.
